Role Overview:
As a .NET Lead Developer, you will play a key role in leading development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy robust solutions. Leveraging your expertise in AWS, relational databases, and .NET development, you will contribute to the enhancement of our client's trading platforms and systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications using .NET framework.
Architect, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Develop and maintain relational database schemas, queries, and optimisations.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive project deliverables.
Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending technology solutions to enhance efficiency and innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development, with working knowledge of .NET 7 or 8.
Proven experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior team members.
Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the trading or financial services industry is a plus.
