We'rein search of a technically-skilled and imaginative freelance 3D Character Animator to join our team of Latin America's top talented freelancers.
If you are an experienced digital animator interested in becoming part of something bigger, this is for you!
We have an upcoming project with Good Unicorn, a venture studio that creates 'tech for good' startups starting on February/March. In this project, you will be responsible to breathe life into Good Unicorn's brand character through captivating animations.
Successful candidates will also become part of our Approved Freelancer's List and be shortlisted for opening positions matching your unique set of skills and form dream teams to craftpurpose-driven and innovative digital experiences for ourclients in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Theseresponsibilities highlight key aspects that will demandattention and accountability in our upcoming projects. Can youconfidently demonstrate expertise in the following points?
Lead the animation of an existing 3D character and help bring to life the brand.
Work with modellers and developers to set up your animations and bring them to the studio's website.
Collaboratewith our team of artists, designers and content creators to explore andsuggest new features.
Participate inproject meetings and provide technical expertise to ensuretimely project delivery.
Review creative processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
Requirements:
These are the expectations for the current opening position. Can you demonstrate your experience in them?
You can prove your experience as a 3D character animator, with a strong portfolio and reel showcasing your best work.You have a strong technical and artistic background, demonstrating proficiency in 3D animation software and a keen understanding of character movement, facial expressions, and storytelling through animation.You can create character rigs to control the different bones and create smooth animations, using industry standard software such as Maya or Blender.You know how best to apply in practice the principles of animation, being able to define tone and style even to a cube.You are open to suggest as well as receive feedback from the creative team and clients to enhance your work.You can communicate clearly in spoken and written English, speak fluent Spanish and live in Latin America.
