7.5 Tonne Home delivery driver

Freeway Recruitment are activley recruitng for their client. They are looking for a 7.5 Tonne driver to join one of their crews based in Bury. 

The position is a 7.5 Tonne Double manned delivery driver. 

Your duites on a daily basis will be to assist your other driver in delivering DIY and building materials and product to customers homes. 

You will also be reponsible ( Full and part) For ensuring Vehicle has a daily check and record any faults and defects

Delivering product using the companies health / safety and correct manual handling and tail lift procedures

Operating a pump truck where needed

Working in a 2 manned team to ensurte effective and safe handling of goods.

reporting any incidents and lines of communication to relevant bodies.

Operating a 7.5 tonne box waggon in a safe and efficient manner.

Delivering on average 15 to 20 plus deliveries a day including inter store collections.

Carrying out other tasks including but not limited to taking the vehicle for service and or repairs when required.

Details-

Working week - The normal working shift would be a 5 and 6 day working week over 7

Normally working a Sunday to Thursday or  a Monday to Friday or  Monday to Saturday. This working week can be discussed 

Working time of shift - 11:00 am to 8.00 pm  ( accept Sundays , these are an 08:00 am start) 

Pay - 12.59 per hour 

Overtime - paid at time 1.5 after 40 hour per week . Overtime on Sunday would be paid at double time after 40 hours per week.

Requirments for the role

You must have at least a 7.5 tonne entitlement and have held it for at least 6 months.

A FULL AND VALID CPC AND TACHO CARD.

No more than 3 points on licence and no serious endorsments i.e DR , IN , DD.

A full and valid right to work in the UK 

Experience of working with in a home delivery role would be an advantage although not essential.
