Accounts Payable Clerk

In this role, you'll be a crucial support to the Accounts Payable Manager, handling a variety of purchasing administrative tasks and bespoke duties that include:

• Invoice processing and registration using our OCR system, Continia.


• Ensuring accuracy through 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes.


• Tackling price queries with buyers and resolving delivery discrepancies with site managers.


• Preparing for weekly payment runs and conducting monthly supplier statement reconciliations


• Keeping vendor accounts in check and efficiently managing supplier inquiries.


•  Taking shared responsibility for inbox management and document filing within purchase ledgers.

What we're looking for in an Accounts Payable Clerk:

• At 0 -2 years of previous Accounts Payable experience, with a keen eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to resolving queries.


• Strong communication skills, a team-player mindset, and a positive attitude.


• Willing to take on the job training, be adaptable and have a steady growth path

Nice to haves for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Experience in a shared service centre, knowledge of the construction industry, familiarity with Business Central, and previous use of Continia software.
