Activity Co-ordinator

We are looking for an outstanding Activity Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care.Cygnet Hospital Harrow provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems. We also offer specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and who also have a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.Our acute in-patient psychiatric services offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment for individuals with a wide range of psychological and emotional problems, including those who are detained under the Mental Health Act.This role will be full time working shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays.Your day-to-day...Develop, plan, implement & oversee activities, outings & events for the people in our careProvide fun & constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical & emotional supportEnsure the provision of staff, space & materials for all activitiesSupervise, oversee & develop colleaguesOversee the creation of promotional materials for eventsYou are...An excellent role model who knows what good care looks likeHighly organised, with a positive attitudeA confident public speaker & facilitatorKnowledgeable of suitable activities & pastimes to support mental health service usersPositive in your approach to working with challenging behavioursExperienced in planning, resourcing & carrying out events & activitiesWhy Cygnet?
