Role overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks, with experience in inputting financial data into specific software systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The business is split into three distinct units, and the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the heads of these units with various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities :
Input financial data into designated software systems with accuracy and precision
Assist in the organization and maintenance of financial records and documents as well as cross-check data to ensure consistency and identify any discrepancies
Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members
Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls as well as manage reception duties, including greeting and assisting guests
About the candidate:
A degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, ideally in a science, business or marketing vertical or part of an agency internship program
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a finance-related setting
Experience with financial software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
