We are a diverse and multinational company, and we are seeking like-minded, passionate individuals to help us progress even further.Responsibilities:As an Agent Communication Officer collaborating with student recruitment agencies to recruit home students in the UK for a university, your role is multifaceted and involves various responsibilities to ensure effective engagement and enrolment of domestic students. Here's a comprehensive overview of your job responsibilities:Agency Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with student recruitment agencies across the UK.Serve as the primary point of contact for recruitment agencies, fostering regular communication and providing support as needed.Collaborate closely with agencies to understand their specific needs, goals, and target student demographics.Information Dissemination:Provide recruitment agencies with comprehensive information about the university's academic programs, admission requirements, campus facilities, and student support services.Ensure that agencies are equipped with up-to-date marketing materials and resources to effectively promote the university to prospective domestic students.Promotional Material Coordination:Coordinate the distribution of promotional materials, including brochures, prospectuses, and digital content, to recruitment agencies.Work with the university's marketing team to develop engaging and informative materials tailored to the needs and preferences of domestic students.Training and Support:Conduct training sessions and workshops for recruitment agency staff to familiarise them with the university's offerings, admission processes, and application procedures.Provide ongoing support and assistance to recruitment agencies, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding student recruitment.Data Analysis and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of interactions with recruitment agencies, inquiries received, and outcomes.Analyse data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes for university stakeholders.Feedback Collection and Evaluation:Solicit feedback from recruitment agencies to evaluate their satisfaction with the university's support and services.Use feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement in the recruitment process and communication strategies.Market Research and Strategy Development:Stay informed about trends and developments in the UK higher education market, including changes in student demographics and preferences.Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for recruitment growth and develop targeted strategies to attract domestic students.Compliance and Ethics:Ensure that all interactions with recruitment agencies comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing student recruitment.Uphold principles of transparency, integrity, and fairness in all dealings with recruitment partners.Collaboration with University Departments:Collaborate closely with colleagues in admissions, marketing, academic departments, and student services to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals and objectives.Coordinate communication strategies and promotional activities to ensure consistency and effectiveness across departments.Requirements:Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in education, English, languages, psychology, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in admissions, education or a similar role is highly desirable. Prior experience in editing or assessing writing is also highly desirable.Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences. Active listening skills to understand and address the concerns of prospective students and effectively.Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with applicants. Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanour throughout the admissions process.Analytical and Decision-Making Abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess applicants' qualifications, potential, and fit for the Planet Education Networks. Make informed and fair decisions based on comprehensive evaluations.Organisational Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise work effectively, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is essential when reviewing applications and maintaining accurate records.Ethical Standards: Display a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to applicants and the admissions process.Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with technology and able to adapt to different virtual interview platforms and software.
