Air Freight Coordinator
Location:
Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
Salary:
£28,000 - £35,000
As an Air Freight Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in managing the smooth transportation of goods across Air Freight - making sure it's cost-effective and reliable.
Role:
Coordinating Import/ Export shipments from start to finish using Air freight
Working with clients and carriers to choose the best routes and modes based on cost and time
Negotiating rates with customers to ensure competitive pricing
Handling the paperwork including bills, customs forms, and contracts
Monitoring shipments and update clients
Ensuring customs requirements are met
Build great relationships with clients
Find ways to improve our transportation process
Requirements:
At least 2 year of experience in Air Freight
Know the ins and outs of shipments, including hazardous goods.
Understand customs procedures and paperwork.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiar with shipping terms.
Able to meet deadlines and work with customers.
