Title: Air Import Clerk
Location: Feltham, Middlesex
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)
Salary: £32k+ (Depending on experience)
Logic 360 are currently supporting an industry leading freight forwarder who are looking to add an Air Import Clerk to their rapidly expanding Heathrow team.
You will be responsible for all aspects of sea imports from start to finish, including custom clearance. You will liaise with overseas offices, partners, and clients to ensure deliveries are made accurately and on-time whilst providing a high level of
service.
You will be operationally hands on and be commercially aware with a minimum of 2-years’ experience in the same or similar role.
Responsibilities:


  • Handling air imports from start to finish.
  • Completing and documenting details of goods being imported.
  • Custom entries and compliance.
  • Invoicing clients.
  • Provide regular updates on shipments.
  • Liaising with handling agents.
  • Provide quotations.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships.

Requirements:


  • 2-years’ experience as an Air Import Clerk
  • Able to work Monday – Friday (Office based, no home working)
  • Knowledge of Cargowise is beneficial but not essential.
  • A-Z knowledge of ocean import including custom clearance.
  • Knowledge if custom regimes and regulations
