ISQ Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager for one of our Clients based in Norfolk. This role could be an ideal fit for a current Engineering Team Leader or Supervisor who is looking for a next step in their career and will offer an opportunity to progress into a managerial role within the company or, an experienced Engineering Manager who is looking for a better work/life balance.
Responsibilities
Lead the engineering team, ensuring adherence to health & safety and food safety standards.
Perform planned preventative maintenance on various machinery to keep uptime high and production disruptions low.
Undertake fault finding, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Manage emergency maintenance to address equipment breakdowns promptly.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and manage inventory, identifying any shortages.
Requirements
Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer, especially in mechanical/electrical maintenance and fault finding.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with automated production lines and packaging machinery.
