Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Locum Biomedical Scientist to work with one of our main clients in their Histopathology laboratory. You will play a vital role in preparing high-quality tissue sections for microscopic examination by pathologists, aiding in the diagnosis of disease.Main Responsibilities include: Process and embed surgical and biopsy specimens using standardized protocols.Operate a microtome machine to precisely cut tissue sections at a high rate (ideally 40 blocks per hour).Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality control procedures.Qualifications:HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.Experience in histopathology techniques, including tissue processing and microtomy.Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
