The Marketing Intelligence and Reporting team works very closely with the US Marketing Intelligence team and the Annalect India team to deliver scalable solutions at a global level.
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a smart and confident candidate that’s either currently a strong senior analyst or BI Manager, responsible for maintaining and improving tables and business logic for a reporting platform. The Business Intelligence Manager will support an MI Director with all data operations and reporting workstreams for one of Omnicom’s largest global autotive clients and work closely with our engineering team; TSOC.
This role will ensure our AWS data infrastructure is supporting a best-in-class reporting platform for one our our largest accounts within Omnicom Media Group, and will be reporting into the Senior Marketing Intelligence and Reporting Director.
Communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across projects to meet deadlines are important and we need someone with a logical approach to problem solving and strong attention to detail. An independent self-starter you will be able to quickly establish credible relationships within the team.
You will have experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge. The ability to collaborate and simplify complex solutions is crucial for the success of this role as is the ability to prioritise initiatives that drive most value and impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing and improving the existing client reporting data infrastructure
Further automate and integrate with supplier platforms and sources
You will be part of both the measurement and client teams which creates and uses reporting and data tools to improve the performance of marketing for our clients
Build, maintain and develop the data infrastructure according to client specifications to enable performance visualization
Leading the integration of local and global business logic into the output’s tables.
Ensure a high level of data governance across all data sources
Assist in monitoring and improving ETL processes
Produce recommendations based on findings
Feedback any highlights/concerns to the team.
Work closely with wider MI & R and TSOC teams such as analytics and engineering
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Minimum 3 years of experience in data operations, reporting, or a related business intelligence practice
Experience of working with AWS Redshift and S3 essential, with the role being hands on
Clear communicator in English: verbal and written.
At ease working to fast turnaround times
Strong functional understanding of data and data infrastructure
Strong coordination and operational skills
Curious / investigative nature
Highly organized and able to manage their own time to meet deadlines across multiple work streams.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Redshift & SQL essential
Practical experience GCP preferable
Practical experience with one or more of Tableau, Power BI, MCI (Datorama), Alteryx beneficial but not essential for the role
