Zevero is a software platform that helps companies measure, reduce, and report on their emissions.
We’re growing quickly and working with some fantastic brands, partners and suppliers to help them reduce their emissions. We know there is more to do to scale our services and we want you to come help us.
We’re looking for a carbon consultant to join the team and work directly with our clients on their net zero plans.
We’re a small team and we need somebody that is agile, works fast, is excited by a startup environment and is willing to help Zevero, our clients and the planet.
About the role
As a Carbon Consultant, your core responsibility will be the transformation of raw business activity data into refined carbon footprints aligned with standards.
You will play a pivotal role in the strategy of the Zevero platform to progress our carbon methodologies to promote accuracy and ease of use.
You will actively engage with clients, offering advice to assist them in the calculation, monitoring, targets and reduction of their carbon emissions.
You’ll provide the data and knowledge to help your customers build the reports they need for their stakeholders.
The skills you’ll need
Deep understanding of GHG accounting principles and frameworks across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 and SBT guidelines.
At least 2 years working with carbon data and helping companies reduce their impact.
Familiarity with other legislative reporting frameworks such as SECR and TCFD.
Experience in modelling relevant to climate change impacts and benefits within corporate value chains, working with complex data sets and decarbonisation models
Familiarity with LCA databases (e.g. Ecoinvent) and tools (e.g. SimaPro, OpenLCA or GaBi) as well as relevant standards of reporting (e.g. ISO 14060 family)
