About the Role
The Cleaning Supervisor fulfils a key role at the College by ensuring that all buildings are clean, maintained and suitable for the use of students, staff and visitors.
Fulfilling this role is critical to ensuring that we have a safe, clean and welcoming campus environment. Your role and how you deal with people in a professional and friendly way will shape staff and visitor’s views of the overall look and feel of the College Campus.
You will lead a team of cleaners on a nominated campus, maintaining standards, ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met and assisting in the recruitment of staff and being responsible of training new staff to the team. You will prepare and co-ordinate a schedule of deep cleaning to be undertaken throughout the year, particularly around College holiday periods.

You will have ideally have prior experience of co-ordinating and working within a cleaning role or similar (ideally within education but this is not essential).
You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, an appropriate Cleaning qualification and First Aid or be willing to work towards.

You will report to Campus Facilities Manager and work co-operatively with colleagues across the College Campus’s and premises.
