CNC Operator (Composites)

Manpower is recruiting a CNC Operator on behalf of our client who are manufacturing advanced zero-emission boats to the marine sector.

Working in a clean and newly established manufacturing facility, the CNC Operator will operate a 5 Axis CNC Machine working alongside the production team and CNC programmer to manufacture composite parts.

Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm, with a competitive salary plus a range of benefits (private medical, health cash plan, pension matching, 35 days holiday).

Ideally we are looking for CNC experience working with composites

The Role

• Operate and maintain 5 axis CNC routing machine
• Track tool usage and manage tool requirements
• Quality inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and gauges
• Loading and setting of tooling
• Liaise with production manager to ensure good workflow

What we are looking for

• Experience operating a CNC Machine
• Experience working with composites
• Experience in quality inspection of parts against drawings
• Strong attention to detail
