Job Description
Opportunity
Arkesden are one of the leading Alternative Investment search firms based in London and founded over fifteen years ago. We operate in four key verticals, Private Equity, Energy & Infrastructure, Real Estate and Private Credit. Over the last 16 years we have built up a strong reputation in our specialist markets and a long track record of success to date. Arkesden works with some of the most well known and interesting funds in the market building deep relationships with our clients.
Hiring Overview
Arkesden Partners is looking to develop new talent across the firm in order to meet our strategic plans.
We aim to hire only one or possibly two graduates per year with a view to bringing people in that would wish to aim for Partner track status with us. All of the Partners within Arkesden joined the firms as graduates and have worked their way up to the management team. Therefore we are looking to hire an extremely bright and hard working graduate to join the firm for the medium term.
Role Specification
This is a role for an ambitious Graduate to initially train as a Consultant with the aim of developing into a Senior Consultant within the business in the future. There are many facets to Executive Search, all of which are learnt through hands on training. Arkesden Partners offers a tailor-made Consultant Development Framework designed by an industry leading Management Consultancy for Consultants that join.
Why a career at Arkesden?
· A highly successful track record of delivery for over one and half decades – leading global and sector specialist clients in our practice areas. Consequentially Arkesden Partners has achieved great success in building long term relationships with our clients.
· A business that offers huge responsibility at a relatively early stage in your career – working with clients within a year of joining us.
Working with all Partners in the firm in the first two years of your in-role training.
· In-House Training is key – twenty-two separate internal and external courses to undertake in the first 24 months of being with the business for example
· Meritocracy – Hard work, success and dedication supersede time-based promotion
· Compensation – We constantly ensure that remuneration is in the top quartile against our competitors
· Benefits – we offer one of the best benefits packages of any search firm that we are aware of including medium term profit share, unlimited holiday, global August policy (working anywhere in the world in August) and many others including Private Healthcare and many more for Senior Consultants and above.
· A business that has a clear five-year growth plan we are executing – an exciting time to join the firm not just to grow personally but see the business do the same.
· Entrepreneurial spirit – our Partners and Senior Managers have all personally been instrumental in build out of sector coverage. You would be expected to do the same over the medium term.

Culture
We have an adult environment in the firm with the focus on the individual working for themselves and the firm.
The Arkesden team has a lot of fun together whilst also spending most of our focus on our lives outside the office.
We work to deadlines with highly demanding clients. However we think about working very efficiently to get our work completed to a high standard and keeping evenings and weekends to ourselves.
We spend a lot of our time cross-selling in the business, working collaboratively and thinking about the medium term relationships we have and wish to build.
