Contract Maintenance Engineer

�A leading organisation is in search of a skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a mechanical or electrical bias, to start as soon as possible! This is a six-month contract, with the potential for extension and offers a hourly rate of �20.

Role Details:

- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical or electrical systems

- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to ensure minimal downtime

- Implement preventative maintenance strategies to improve operational efficiency

- Collaborate with a team of professionals to manage and complete projects

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias

- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Engineering

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management

- Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and schematics

- A proactive approach to maintenance and repairs with an ability to work independently
