Reed Accountancyis currently assisting a growing organisation in the Crawley area who are seeking a Credit Control Team Leader to join their growing team, Reporting to the Credit Manager this role will have a strong commitment to financial stability and risk management so requires an individual with a passion forcredit risk management,
attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Assessment:Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and payment history.Credit Limit Determination:Set appropriate credit limits based on risk assessment and business requirements.Debtor Management:Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and negotiate payment terms.Collections:Proactively manage collections, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt exposure.Credit Policy Compliance:Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures, recommending improvements when necessary.Reporting:Prepare and distribute monthly aged debtor reports, interpreting data to drive credit management decisions.Collaboration:Work closely with sales teams to manage credit risk for new orders. Qualifications:
Minimum of2 years’ experiencein credit control, with a focus on credit risk management.Strong understanding of financial statements, credit reports, and risk assessment.Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in using financial software and tools.Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
