Delegated Underwriting Manager

Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Delegated Underwriting Manager to join a Global Insurer and lead a team of Senior and Junior analysts.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the due diligence reviews of coverholders and Delegated Claims administrators are in line with company policy and procedures, provide support to the coverholder audit team, participate in the Delegated Oversight Group and attend the committee when required.
A key duty is the line management of the delegated underwriting and claims team, coaching and mentoring where required, providing training for less experienced team members and developing the team. You will also be required to form strong relationships with the underwriting and claims teams, deputise for the Head of the division when called upon and work closely with senior management across the business in the UK and internationally.
The successful candidate will have a wealth of Delegated Underwriting and Claims experience, managing teams and a desire to add value to a busy and growing division.
