Depot Manager (Builders' Merchant)

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Depot Manager to oversee the running of a small builders' merchant. The Depot Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the depot to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing all aspects of depot operations, including sales, stock control, yard and fleet management.


• Supervising a small team of yards people, drivers and office staff.


• Responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction


• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment

Applicants must have previous management experience from within a builders' merchant or similar. Strong organisational and customer service skills are essential along with the ability to calculate areas/volumes etc.

Hours of work are 7.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday with additional pay for Saturday mornings. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established business and a small, stable team.
