Deputy Nursery manager

Bamboo Childcare are recruiting for a Depute Nursery Manager (Deputy Nursery Manager) based with a reputable company in the Inverness area.
This is a permanent position for 40 hrs per week. The nursery is part of a small group of settings.

In order to be considered for the role of Depute Nursery Manager in Inverness, you will need:

• A passionate and positive attitude
• Deputy experience, or room leader experience from a high performing setting looking for the next step up.
• Experience as a key worker within an early years setting
• Good understanding of the curriculum.
• A full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable

The role of Depute Nursery Manager will include:

• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
• Overseeing the smooth running and high quality practice within the room
• Leading on planning
• Supporting Manager in daily admin tasks.
