Design Manager – Womenswear (High street )
Product Area: Womenswear High Street Supply
Location: London
Salary To £55k basic + bonus + Bens
We are working very closely with a very establishing and expanding high street supplier with a work force in excess of 100 staff in London. They are looking to add a design manager to the team to report to the Design Director. The role will be to oversee a team of womenswear designers across various retail accounts ( high street and supermarket ) across multi product where you will be managing and guiding a talented team helping contribute and implement design strategies across all areas with the design director .You will assist in critical paths to meet deadlines and collaborate closely with customers and buyers, presenting collections with the sales teams and help conduct research, trend analysis, mood board creation, colour palate development and the sending of design tech packs to factories .You will continue to maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends and market opportunities and attend fabric fairs, visit fabric and embarking on inspirational shopping trips with your team
MUST HAVE TO BE SHORTLISTED
Well versed and recent experience Womenswear high street supply at design manager or senior design level with a track record of recent people management
Recent High street supply experience
Recent track record of working on multi product.
Attending buyer’s meetings with sales
Up to date on high street trends
Knowledge of critical path management
Excellent communication skills
Fully committed to deadlines
London based and eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years.
