This is a key leadership role overseeing the Finance systems and processes to deliver robust reporting and controls. Managing a large team, you will be the number two to the CFO and have wide exposure across the organisation. You will work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial organisation, joining a talented, ambitious and collaborative management team as they continue to make huge waves in the market.Key Responsibilities:Maintain a robust financial control environment, ensuring that risks are adequately mitigated with appropriate controls and processes are constantly challengedTake ownership of financial processing (i.e., accounts payable, credit control) to deliver best in class service levels and efficient transaction processingMonitor and manage the Covenant Group's financial position and associated debt levels against covenants. Ensure the Group has clear cash flow targets and delivers cash initiatives that optimise the working capital cycleManage the FX hedging levels ensuring that FX hedging is appropriate and accounted for correctlyEnsure up to date and robust balance sheet reconciliations, with risks and opportunities appropriately reported and managedManage the adoption of a new ERP systemOversee the annual audit process, tax and other regulatory reporting processesDeputise for the Group CFO and collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and embed clear standards of quality and serviceRequirements:Experienced finance professional with a minimum of 3 years' PQEStrong technical knowledge of AP, AR, Finance systems and reportingStrong treasury and FX knowledge including hedgingKnowledge of payment gateways, solutions and on-line fraud protections would be an advantageExperience of leading and developing financial teamsGreat flexibility and resilience with ability to adapt and work effectively in a variety of situations with different individuals or groupsDemonstrable ability to build strong, scalable systems and proceduresBusiness partnering & strategic skills - ability to challenge and influence at senior levelsProactive in dealing with issues and ability to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are metGood understanding of the Tour Operator business model, market and reporting is highly advantageous would be preferredStrong modelling and excel skills with ability to process and summarise large amount of dataIdeally experience of implementing ERP systemsWe know that diverse recruitment practices start with us.
