Job Role: Electrical Design Engineer

Salary / Rate: �400- �450/day Inside IR35

Location: Birmingham

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their multidisciplinary design team working on a variety of clean and wastewater schemes on multiple frameworks.

This role is a long term contract position which offers hybrid working out of either the Birmingham or Leeds office.

About the Role:

• Inspecting and assessing existing LV electrical installations, including MCCs and Power distribution arrangements.
• Working with engineers from all disciplines to optimise and develop bespoke, 'value for money' and innovative designs.
• Delivery of water designs and specifications on water related projects.
• Appreciating the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions.

About you:

• Knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems.
• HNC or HND or professional qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Electrical
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good report writing skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to ensure that timescales are met.
• Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions.
• Able to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors.
• Able to recognise own impact on others and adapt approach where appropriate.
• Demonstrate pride in work, through accurate timely delivery.
