This Lead English specialist role will be challenging but equally highly rewarding and a great opportunity.You should:• Be an English Subject Specialist;• Have a commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and external agencies to provide maximum support and excellent learning opportunities for all students;• Have experience of working within an SEN setting or experience of working with children with SEN within a mainstream setting;• Be an outstanding teacher who is passionate about encouraging all children to achieve success;• Be ambitious to support and extend the learning opportunities for all of our children;• Be able to build effective relationships with students;• Be flexible and adaptable;• Have very good communication and interpersonal skills;• Have an understanding of SEMH and related conditions such as anxiety, attachment disorder, PDA, ASC, ADHD etc…Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and welcomed.
