Across the borough, our Estates Services teams collaborate with residents of council-owned housing estates to look after shared amenities and outdoor spaces. We also work to combat anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping, litter and graffiti. Our aim is for everyone to have a clean, safe, healthy place to live.The Role:Working across a clearly defined area of the borough, you will manage a team of Caretakers, as well as a number of contractors, ensuring they deliver efficient frontline services day to day. Highly visible to the community, you’ll also deal with complaints and provide emergency response to ensure the safety of residents during any incidents. Making sure your team stays highly motivated and performs well will be a key challenge. You will also look after their health and safety. for more informationAbout You:While estate management experience would be useful, it is not essential, providing you are capable of carrying out inspections and identifying problems and shortfalls in service. Well-organised, you’ll be able to keep track of stock and equipment, and to plan workloads for your team. You’ll also have good health and safety awareness.
