Fabricator welder

Seeking candidates interested in working in the Steel construction industry. This position is responsible for; Fabricating and welding structural and architectural metal work to the project specification. Working in Hewish, the successful candidate will be part of team working under the supervision of the workshop supervisor.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities

• To work safely and efficiently


• To receive technical instructions and information (verbal, written, and drawings) and to produce metalwork products according to specification and timescale


• To complete records and documentation


• To inspect work and identify and report any non-conformances


• To assist with Goods In and Goods Out procedures as and when required


• To be available to work at different work locations and on site


• Other duties as required by the business needs and within your capabilities

• Ability to pass weld qualification tests

• Professionally skilled at MMA and MAG welding


• FLT & Side loader licence would be an advantage
