We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to be employed permanently for our client, an established organisation within the education sector. This is a great role for someone with 5+ years of experience in a similar setting and who has a Chartered Accountancy Qualification (or currently working towards). * Managing the budgeting process.
* Financial reporting and auditing.
* Forecasting.
* Grant applications and fundraising.
* Major procurements.
* Banking and investment.
* Ensuring effective finance systems, processes and procedures.
* Attending monthly meetings and preparing documents beforehand.
* Invoicing and payment processing.
* Cash, banking, treasurer and investment of funds.
* Tax (including VAT and other relevant taxes).
* Payroll and PAYE. Requirements include:
* Experience working as a Financial Controller.
* 5+ years experience in an education environment.
* Chartered Management Accountant Qualification (or working towards). Please note this position is only suitable for candidates who are already able to live and work in the UK without restriction.
