Food Technician Required

£80-£100 per day

The Supply Register is looking for an experienced and responsible Food Technician to join the Leigh Academy Tonbridge from September 2024. This is a part-time role, for term time only.

As a Food Technician you will be expected to:

• Help prepare and maintain classroom cooking equipment and utensils
• Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure it is safe and not faulty
• Help to assist and set up lessons
• Assisting both the class teacher and students during lessons
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food Technician in a school would be desirable
• Relevant background in cooking or catering would be desirable
• Must hold the Right to work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must have a minimum of 24 months of professional references
