To learn more, visit:penspen.com|LinkedIn |YouTube Are You Our Next Global Communications Assistant? www.penspen,com Penspen’s Global Marketing & Communications function are looking for a talented Communications Assistant to join our small, friendly, and ambitious team. The successful candidate will be an excellent relationship builder and content developer skilled at transferring complex information into compelling stories for internal and external channels. As a Communications Assistant at Penspen, you will actively deliver on the day-to-day activities of our internal and external communications programmes, including content development and proofreading for both online and offline, and produce general marketing and communications work such as updating the website, intranet, and social media accounts. You will have the opportunity to influence and work on a wide range of projects from start to finish - from internal campaign launches to copywriting of corporate news, white papers, case studies, blog posts, and thought leadership articles. A flair for identifying news opportunities, media engagement, and social media content is highly beneficial. To thrive in this role, you should be a strong communicator with outstanding attention to detail, be able to manage projects simultaneously, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Furthermore, you are motivated by playing a vital role in the business by supporting the flow of information and sharing best practices among Penspen’s employees and external stakeholders globally. Please note that this is a hybrid working role, a split between office and home working where you will be required to be in the office 2-3 times/week. Only apply if you have:-
GCSE's in Maths and English (Grades A-C / or 4-9) Relevant degree in Communications and/or Marketing Ideally, a minimum 2 years working in a similar role Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels Good understanding of marketing and communications disciplines Good understanding of the global media landscape, including digital and online channels Experience in creating content (text, photo, and/or video) Must be creative, detail-orientated, and highly organised Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Good technical knowledge - Microsoft Office and Adobe CS primarily Good commercial understanding Passionate about a career in communications Accuracy and a good eye for detail is essential A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to make an impact
Would be nice to have:-
Experience working in a SME or start-up/scale-up environment Analytical, research driven mindset Familiar with agile marketing practices Multi-lingual proficiency - Spanish specifically Interest in energy and sustainability
