If Product Strategy is your thing you could progress into a Product Management role; if you’d like to stay closer to quantitative analytics and machine learning you might specialize in Credit & Commercial or Data Science.In Product, our teams develop exciting new products, improve, and scale our existing products, and really getting into the minds of our customers, to make sure our products keep getting bigger and better! They are typically creative problem solvers who are technically curious, analytical minded and data focused. Our Credit & Commercial teams are one of the vital backbones to Zopa’s profitability and keep our credit and commercial performance strong. They utilise risk models, build underwriting, carry out hypothesis testing, and are always monitoring portfolio trends. They typically have a passion for translating numbers into business opportunities and delivering insights that drive decision-making.Our Data Scientists work across a variety of data and modelling topics, such as credit risk, fraud detection, pricing, and customer engagement. The application of machine learning is at the heart of what we do and the products we bring to market. We’ve been using advanced machine learning models for over 7 years, and they make over 98% of our lending decisions! They are natural problem solvers, are analytically minded and have a genuine interest in machine learning.We want you to work in an area that energises you and we are committed to moving your career forwards and developing Zopa’s leaders of tomorrow. The ProcessApplications will open on Friday 1st March and close on Friday 29th March. Once you apply, we want you to show us your skills! You will receive a link to complete a 20-minute assessment focused on testing your critical thinking and numerical reasoning skills. If successful, you will have a quick screening call with a member of the talent team.Our assessment days at Zopa HQ will run throughout April. This will involve two supervised case studies, lunch and a Q&A session with our team leads. Don't worry, there's no group exercises!The final interviews will take place in May.Offers will be going out across May and June for a September 2024 start date (exact date to be confirmed).*Note: These roles may be best suited for 2023-2024 graduates ready to start in September 2024.
