Working with some of the worlds most generous and inspired Philanthropists, they are looking for a Grants Administration Analyst, to join the team on a Permanent basis.Job DescriptionThe role of Grants Administration Analyst will sit within their expanding Grants Team and will contribute directly to the organization's goal of making philanthropy more accessible and effective, ensuring that the process of giving back is convenient for donors.The role will include;Support The Head of Grantmaking with the entire grant making process from grant recommendation to grant paymentEntering grant recommendations into the grants databaseConduct significant amount of due diligence into charities and review grants in line with relevant compliance proceduresTrack grants on an ongoing basis in SalesforceCorrespond with charities and donors/donor representatives as needed regarding grant recommendationsInput grants into BoardEffect for review and approval by staff or board committees weeklyAssist with entering grant payments in banking systemDraft, review and email grant letters weeklyAssure that grantees are in compliance with reporting requirements including periodic review of outstanding grant reports.Work with NPT US Legal and NPT UK legal counsel for grants that require additional review and due diligenceAssist Head of Grantmaking with annual audit and reporting throughout the yearActively participate in projects related to current and future initiatives within the Grants departmentKeep abreast of any changes to regulatory compliance within philanthropic givingThe Successful ApplicantWe are looking for a candidate with the following;* Bachelor's degree in related areas of study* Passion for philanthropy and the need to make giving easier for donors and charities* Strong organizational and time-management skills* Demonstrable ability for attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritisation of work.* Excellent verbal, writing, interpersonal and proofreading skills* Confident in navigating systems such as Stellar, Salesforce* Very detail oriented* Skilled problem solver* Proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel* Must have an inquisitive, investigative mindset, and be willing and able to "dig deeper," rather than accept information at face value* Must possess unquestioned personal integrity and reliability; keep commitments, admit mistakes, accept responsibility for all team output and results, maintain confidentiality when necessary and appropriate, and act in the best interest of the organization at all times* Both a team player and capable of independent workWhat's on OfferAn excellent opportunity to gain further experience in Philanthropy with a growing and dynamic UK charity.
