We are looking for a Head of Controlling and Reporting to join our Canary Wharf-based Finance team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for local controlling, FP&A and reporting activities, consolidating and supporting the financial translation of development plans, managing and coordinating the local controlling teams and the cooperation with the regional Finance Competence Centers
What you will do:
Control
- Management of core financial functions of the local business unit: financial planning and analysis, risk controlling, business controlling, internal reporting- Controlling the financial numbers and business KPIs comparing to the reality of the business
Reporting
- Creation, coordination and evaluation of financial programs and supporting information systems of the BU
Coordination of activities performed by regional Competence Centers
- Support and coordinate the activities of the Finance Competence Center with interface to local BU to ensure appropriate level of accuracy and deliveries in the following areas: record to report, technical accounting, treasury, procure to pay, credit to cash
Management
-manage the team of local controlling
What you will bring:
Market knowledge
- Knowledge of Credit Insurance market specificity- Deep understanding of own market and regulatory environment
Business Expertise
- Know-how of finance best practices- Proven, in-depth know-how in one core finance area (accounting, actuarial, investment, etc)- Analytical thinker
Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to manage a Team and to interact with Regional Team and Competence Centers
Experience in staff management
- Experience in relevant controlling/reporting management roles in a comparable environment.
