Job DescriptionHead of Group Financial Reporting – Environmental and Engineering Solutions Business£100,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + PackageHybrid WorkingStanton House are working with a listed organisation who are looking to appoint a new Head of Group Financial Reporting. Working with, and reporting to the Group Finance Director, you'll be tasked with producing and maintaining best-in-class reporting processes and controls, managing transitions to new accounting standards and drive strategic initiatives by business partnering non-finance teams to support the ambitious growth plans.Role Responsibilities:Oversee finance inputs for the Annual Report & Accounts and Interim Report processes.Ensure clear and consistent messaging in finance sections of these documents, meeting external reporting requirements.Manage high-quality financial reporting from Business Units.Efficiently consolidate Group results during year-end and interim reporting.Handle evolving technical reporting issues.Effectively communicate these to internal and external stakeholders, including external auditors.Prepare technical papers and present to Business Units’ Finance Directors.Handle transitions to new accounting standards.Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for effective period-end processes.Analyse reported numbers to ensure understanding and clarity.Lead the production of UK statutory accounts.Review monthly Accounting Control Checklists for the Group.Assist in developing best practice financial controls.Support due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring.Engage in business modelling and valuation, including impairment assessments.Drive efficiency and automation in financial processes related to reporting and compliance.Assist in implementing new ERP systems and related processes.Experience and Skills:ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with significant PQEPlc reporting experience is desirable Track record in leading, managing, and developing a finance team.Good systems and IT knowledgeAbility to work in detail whilst also understanding the implications on the wider business.Experience with system implementations would be advantageousExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
