Our client are seeking a dynamic individual to undertake a pivotal role in overseeing the continuous evolution, deployment, and maintenance of their IT ecosystem across both central operations and distributed branches.Role Summary & Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the management of our IT infrastructure enterprise-wide.Provide leadership and guidance to our IT team.Formulate and execute short, medium, and long-term IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.Lead negotiations pertaining to IT contracts and telecommunications services.Manage procurement processes for all IT hardware and software requirements.Drive project-based initiatives for infrastructure enhancements, including VMWare solutions and software deployments such as ERP, WMS, and BI systems.Conduct comprehensive evaluations of IT systems to optimize business utilization.Explore and present innovative IT solutions to the executive team.Secure buy-in from end-users for system enhancements.Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments.Oversee the ongoing enhancement and support of our ERP/WMS and BI systems.Define and harmonize business processes with the management team.Conduct user training and ensure adherence to established processes.Plan and implement LAN, WAN, and WIFI network enhancements.Develop and test disaster recovery protocols.Administer and maintain Windows server roles and MS Exchange services.Implement robust backup and recovery mechanisms.Ensure compliance with helpdesk service level agreements.Enhance IT policies to align with regulatory requirements, including data protection and GDPR.Manage corporate security infrastructure and combat cyber threats.Facilitate the rollout of company credit card systems and ensure PCI compliance.Coordinate software and hardware updates for EPOS and PMR systems.Undertake additional projects as required. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience.Demonstrated experience in IT management, preferably within a similar environment.Proficiency in:
Windows Server (##########9), Active Directory, and PowerShell.Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Endpoint Security.Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V).Networking principles.BI tools (QlikView/Tableau), MS NAV, and Microsoft SQL. Familiarity with Progress DBs and previous EPOS exposure would be advantageous.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.Exceptional problem-solving abilities.Effective team management skills with a knack for motivation.Flexibility in approach to work, including occasional travel to other company locations.
