FruPay is a tailored finance package combining insurance and instant payout on invoice that can support either the purchase or sale of goods, giving users the confidence to trade without a prior relationship.TractionSince our launch in March 2023 there has been millions of £ of trade agreed through the platform, with growers from 42 countries.RoleGiven our recent growth we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to join our growing team. As Head of Sales, you will be a key member of our leadership team and will be building out our sales and trade function as we expand. This role offers excellent career progression, and you will be working very closely together with the C-suite and board.Key Responsibilities:·Lead the Commercial Team, managing an ambitious growing team.·Drive commercial strategy, setting priorities and develop and execute on the sales plan making sure it fit in with the overall company strategy and goals.·Drive a results driven culture with clear goals and milestones·Drive the sales process from prospect to trade, managing the pipeline and ensuring data quality·Lock in orders from key buyers, manage the programmes and negotiate the terms·Sell the platforms fresh fruit and vegetables to customers and selling the benefits of the platform to customers to push more trade·Build longer-term relationships with growers·Acquire new accountswho purchase programmes through FruPro·Conduct market research to identify customer needs and new opportunities·Use our trading tool and identify opportunities to automate the workflow furtherYour goal is to lead to more trade between customers and suppliers on our platform and the execution of these deals. You will be working closely with our technology and operations team to improve our offering to customers.Key Requirements:You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and successful commercial track record within retail and non-retail industry selling fresh produceYou have strong network of decision making Fruit and Veg buyersYou have a network of supply side (growers and importers)You have experience of both importing and exporting produceYou are tech savvy and can pick up new software easilyYou have financial and business acumenYou have impactful communication and presentation skillsYou enjoy negotiating with a long term relationship mindsetYou are happy to build something from scratch and this does not scare youExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing external partnersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsNot needed but a big positive is if you are a strong linguist as we all know how important languages are in our industry.We offer:Competitive compensation package, fixed salary plus opportunity for commission.
