The Need:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as the Head of Technical Engineering. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving forward our technical capabilities and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Comfortably engaging with the C-Suite to drive strategic alignment and vision.
Inspiring and developing a working technical culture of unparalleled excellence.
Serving as the primary point of contact for client integration challenges and scenarios.
Steering product evolution and complexity to meet market demands.
Building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally.
Required Skills:
Technical proficiency across various domains, including but not limited to: coding, cloud computing, architecture, security, AI, and mobile technologies. Experience with agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), clean code practices, and lean principles. Expertise in website and portal ecommerce solutions. Strong understanding of design principles and their application in product development. Demonstrated ability in team leadership, nurturing talent, scaling teams, and driving performance. Experience working with high-volume and transactional intuitive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success in a similar role within the retail or ecommerce industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
