We are looking for an energetic, expert, and adaptable Health and Safety professional to join our team based at Moray House in Elgin.
Managing a team of Health and Safety co-ordinators, you will have key responsibility for the following:
Supporting consistent execution of Diageo occupational health & safety strategy, standards, policies & procedures, and legislative requirements across a range of sites
Work with internal and external stakeholders to support effective delivery and implementation of improvement initiatives that drive health & safety compliance
Deliver occupational health & safety improvement by providing functional leadership and mentorship to the team and colleagues throughout our business
Accountable for delivery of improvement plans, as well as leading and developing the capability of the coordinators in your team
Proactively supervising trends and reports on compliance with our relevant key performances, ensuring that interventions are put in place as vital
Maintaining excellent relationships with regulators, including facilitation of inspections and communications where needed
Here are some of the skills that could be a good indicator that this role is a fit for you:
Health and Safety qualifications, such as a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
Proven understanding of UK OH&S legislation and standards and their application in industry
