Financial wellbeing programme and preferred rates on salary finance products HR Data and Payroll ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity to join our People team at Food & Drink at Wimbledon as we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Data and Payroll Manager to join our dynamic People team.PositionReporting directly to the Head of People Operations, the HR Data and Payroll Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of payroll administration and data management, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, forecasting payroll expenses, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within Payroll.Responsibilities:Report directly to the Head of People Operations and collaborate closely with the HR and finance teams.Manage and execute weekly variable payroll and agency payroll processes.Forecast weekly variable payroll expenses and reconcile payroll reports on a regular basis.Maintain and manage the weekly WFM system to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.Oversee year-round and Championships HR Purchase Order logsDevelop and maintain payroll processes to ensure business continuity and compliance with regulations.Compile and manage labour planners for Wimbledon ChampionshipsGuide the Championships Staffing team in executing payroll processes effectively.Reconcile and report Championships daily and weekly labour spend.Process and manage all Championships expenses and reconcile pay queries in a timely mannerLiaise with department heads to assess labour planner changes and amendments.Provide support to the People Operations team with Championships recruitment, screening, and onboarding processes.Oversee the workforce management system and provide financial insights into recruitment and training expenditureOffer guidance on overspend, budgeting, and forecasting weekly for Year-round and Championships labour spend.Train teams on the usage and maintenance of workforce management systemMaintain and manage SOPs surrounding payroll and labour spendManage inbox communication and staff inquiries related to payrollStay updated on legalities of payroll deductions, policies, and regulations.DesirableProven experience in payroll administration and data management, preferably in a fast-paced event environment.Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.Proficiency in payroll software/systems and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide valuable insights.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Detail-orientated with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.Major Events experience supporting and working within a People Operations function.Who we are: Levy UK & Ireland is the vibrant and exciting sector of Compass Group, the world's largest catering company.
