Job Description
Our client, an independent law firm based in London, is seeking a HR Advisor to join their team. They have ambitious growth plans, and this is an exciting opportunity to join the team as their first dedicated HR hire.
This is a standalone role, so would suit somebody who is used to working autonomously.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility in terms of where you work best, but you must be able to attend the office at least once a week and as required for in person meetings.
Requirements:
CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
3+ years’ experience at HR Advisor level
Strong Employee Relations experience
Experience creating and implementing new policies
Ability to work autonomously, influence at senior levels, and communicate effectively
High attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Determining and delivering HR’s strategic priorities
Lead workforce planning processes to assess future needs, including skills gaps and succession planning
Producing and analysing data to support decision-making
Provide expert employment law advice and guidance
Support line managers with casework issues, including disciplinary and grievance cases, sickness absence management and welfare concerns
Manage the recruitment process from role design to selection and offer stages, including recruitment administration and on-boarding
Manage HR related platforms and tools
Provide guidance on employment relations issues and ensure HR policies are in line with current legislation
Implement new HR initiatives and projects

The salary for this role is up to £46,000.
