In this position you will be joining a secure and reputable company with over a century of expertise in industry and enter a well-established team as an LV/HV Authorised Person and be part of a great working environment delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services across the UK.





As an LV/HV Authorised Person, you'll work alongside a team of skilled engineers supporting all aspects of LV/HV services to end customers. You'll have the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate with peers, and advance your technical skills and competencies.





 The role is home based with travel to site for works included within your working day.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead the delivery of projects covering construction, LV/HV asset maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and product support.

  • Issue, monitor, and manage safety documents in accordance with relevant safe rules.

  • Conduct installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of LV/HV equipment.

  • Interpret electrical drawings and records, and conduct electrical testing and fault finding.

  • Coordinate site work with engineers, sub-contractors, and utilities companies.

  • Plan outages, produce switching programs, and ensure a safe working environment during high/low voltage activities.

  • Maintain all authorizations in accordance with legislative safety procedures and industry best practice.

  • Liaise closely with the team to manage priorities effectively.



Qualifications, Experience & Skills:




  • Proven track record of experience in the electrical and/or distribution industry.

  • Holds AP Authorisation – SSEN, UKPN, Private Networks.

  • Good knowledge of H&S, Distribution Safety rules, and MS Office.

  • Technically qualified with a BTEC, C&G, or equivalent apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.

  • Full driver's license and willingness to travel within the UK, including weekends as required.





Starting salary up to £50,000 with OT ETC you can expect a total of around £75,000 - £90,000 + company truck, private medical, pension, bonus, 25-days holiday + bank holiday and more.
