With a workforce of over 500 dedicated employees, the charity is committed to promoting compassion and respect for all animals. They operate in the non-profit sector and are renowned for their impactful work across the country.Job DescriptionPreparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.Providing financial guidance to support strategic decision-making.Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.Working closely with department heads to optimise cost efficiency.Overseeing financial audits and coordinating with external auditors.Managing a small team within the Accounting & Finance department.Participating in the ongoing development and refinement of financial policies and procedures.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Management Accountant should have:An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the charity sector.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.Proficient use of accounting software and IT systems.Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial colleagues.What's on OfferAn estimated salary range of £54,000 - £66,000 per annum.Generous holiday leave.A supportive and inclusive company culture.The opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause and make a real difference.We encourage all suitable candidates to apply for this rewarding role, and contribute to the crucial work of this animal welfare charity based in London.
