Deep knowledge of IT security principles and frameworks?Known internally as an InfraSecOps Director if you decide that this Infrastructure, Security & Operations IT Director position is the role for you, then you’ll be joining the UK’s largest group of property services, a business that is constantly looking to improve, and one that offers both exciting challenges and job satisfaction.Competitive Salary of £95,000.00-£110,000.00 dependent upon experience, Hybrid Working Options, 25 Days Holiday (Plus 8 Days Public Holiday), Option To Buy Or Sell an additional 5 days' Holiday, Pension, Life Assurance, Enhanced Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Pay, Free Conveyancing Legals, PMI, Retail Discounts Plus Many More! What You'll Be DoingReporting into the Chief Information & Technology officer, you will lead a multi-faceted UK and India based team to ensure the stability, efficiency and security of our Digital Infrastructure, as well as providing oversight of information security across Simplify's estate. Your core responsibilities will be:Developing, delivering, and continually improving Simplify’s infrastructure strategy in support of current and future business needs, including a move to Cloud.Delivering IT Infrastructure projects successfully, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales, scope and budget.Supporting portfolio change with solution design expertise and delivery of services where required.Maintaining services to meet agreed availability and performance targets.Owning the delivery and operation of all Digital infrastructure, Security and operational services for the organisation.Responsibility for information security standards and technical controls to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of digital services.Managing a senior specialist team and owning external relationships with vendors in the areas of Digital infrastructure, Security and operational servicesWorking alongside the project/product and applications delivery teams to deliver digital services.Our Hiring Process:You’ve checked out our job ad It’s gathered your interest and you’ve applied using our easy application process If selected, you come meet our lovely team and we discuss the finer details In some cases, we might invite you for a second interview If successful, we make the offer and get the ball rolling Once in post you can recommend your friends come on over and earn a sweet referral bonus – for each one! Requirements:And now for the nitty gritty: You will be an experienced leader of change initiatives within IT infrastructure and security within complex and challenging environments, as such you will need expertise in infrastructure technologies and best practice ie, cloud computing, virtualisation, storage, backup, disaster recovery, networking, firewalls, etc, as well as a solid understanding of IT security principles and frameworks ie, ISO 27001, NIST etc.The successful applicant will have a proven track record of delivering IT infrastructure change in time, on budget, and to scope, as well as a demonstrated background of inspirational leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement to C-level.Whilst in possession of a customer-focused and service-oriented mindset, you will also need to be a strategic thinker, using your analytical skills and problem solving capabilities to drive business growth and improvement.A certification in in ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or a related field is desirable although equivalent knowledge and experience will be taken into consideration.This role is a hybrid position, affiliated to our Leicester Head Office which you will be required to visit frequently to develop key relationships and attend senior meetings, but with remote working options at all other times.
