Junior Investment Analyst

We are now looking to recruit a Junior Investment Analyst to join our AJ Bell Investments Team. The purpose of the role is to support the Fund Manager in the design, manufacture, monitoring and maintenance of AJBAM Partnership Portfolios.What does the job involve?The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:Support the fund manager in the maintenance of AJ Bell partnership managed portfolios across the following areas:Product governance and monitoringStrategic and tactical asset allocation framework and implementationWorking with Research team to devise appropriate portfolio implementation strategies.Development and production of investment management MIProvide reports (and attendance where appropriate) at departmental committees.Portfolio ImplementationEngage with other areas of the business to support the growth of both AJ Bell Investments and the wider business and ensure portfolio updates are communicated to investors.Supporting and enabling the business to achieve its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Educated to bachelor’s degree level or the equivalent.Working towards further qualifications or the willingness to do soExcellent Analytical & Problem-Solving SkillsStrong Quantitative SkillsExcellent Interpersonal & Communication SkillsAdvanced Report Writing SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Office SkillsAbility to work to strict deadlines.About us:AJ Bell is one of the fastest-growing investment platform businesses in the UK offering an award-winning range of solutions that caters for everyone, from professional financial advisers, to DIY investors with little to no experience.
