Learning Support Assistant - September Start

If so, apply now to an exciting opportunity in the Bourne End area as a Learning Support Assistant. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to support all aged children with their development and you will need to support children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Ideally you need to have previous experience within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant or experience with personal care and SEN experience in some professional capacity.

The Role:

• As a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting students with SEN to ensure they are achieving their personal developmental milestones
• Work with staff members to craft an engaging and stimulating environment for children as a Learning Support Assistant
• Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment as a Learning Support Assistant
• Support children with social, emotional and mental health need

Requirements:

• Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment is preferential but you must have previous experience with children in some capacity in the UK
• Be willing to do personal care
• Have some experience with SEN children or be willing to work with those with SEN
• Already have or willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
