School: Secondary Academy, Bexley, Southeast London

Annual Salary: Enhanced MPS/UPS outer London (£34,568 - £51,237)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Start date: September 2024

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley, in Southeast London bordering Kent, who are looking for a permanent Maths Teacher.

The Maths department is a well-resourced, key curriculum area within the Academy. You will have the drive, high standards and passion to enthuse the pupils and make a real difference to their outcomes and life chances.

The Maths department uses adaptive teaching strategies and multiple representations to drive the understanding of their students. The core purpose of this post is to deliver high quality, appropriately adapted learning experiences for pupils in Maths in order for pupils to progress at rates which are above expectations for them.

The successful applicant with QTS/QTLS will be able to teach Maths across key stages 3-4, with potential for key stage 5, and will contribute to the on-going development of the curriculum and the department.
