I am actively seeking experienced Healthcare Support Workers for a Mental Health service in Bridgend.
The service offers specialist healthcare services for people from South Wales with mental health problems who are offenders or have a potential to offend
I will assist via a 45-minute registration call (once I have received the correct documentation), to help you to a rapid sign-off, so you have the potential to be working within a week of applying.

Overview:

  • Location: Bridgend
  • Pay: £12.44 to £21.34. (PAYE)
  • Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends
  • Flexible agency work.

The role: What will you do as a Healthcare Support Worker
You will need at least 1 year experience within a forensic mental health setting and have control and restraint training (PMVA/PBM).
Within this role you will be supporting the trained nurses in delivering direct care for patients and have excellent support from a team of Sisters including a dedicated unit manager.
You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

  • You must have at least 1 year recent and relevant experience within a forensic mental health setting
  • Practical Manual Handling & PMVA/PBM training
  • UK Resident
  • You must have the right to work in UK
