Job Description:
We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing, securing and managing business relationships with leading brands and companies, ideally gained in a corporate fundraising environment in the not-for-profit sector. Knowledge or experience of working in and around the Greater Manchester would also be beneficial.

Job Responsibilities:
You will also work alongside a Stewardship Assistant who will support you in developing relationships and engaging supporters.
Working alongside the lead Philanthropy Consultant you will deliver an engaging programme of activity that promotes the project to prospective donors and funders, developing a pipeline of approaches and asks.
In this role you will work be working on the multi-million pound fundraising appeal, developing relationships with and securing significant donations from corporate partners and businesses.
Job Requirements:
It’s all about creating a commercially viable, operationally deliverable, enticing and exciting partnership proposition. So, you’ll have to harness audience insight, have financial acumen and work creatively with multiple teams to effectively convert opportunity to reality.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice (Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator, HMRC, GDPR and CIOF)
You’ll be able to work really well as part of a close-knit team, using your skills to work with other departments, obtaining and communicating the most up to date information about a variety of activity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High degree of commercial awareness and understanding of the needs of corporate supporters – Thorough knowledge of the corporate social responsibility agenda and the implications for the charity sector
You’ll have some budget management experience and understand the impact of staying with our budgets whilst still delivering on targets.
Proven consulting skills of listening, building trust and acting to deliver a high-quality service to colleagues in external and internal networks
Proven experience of building a compelling case for support
A people person, you’ll need to be able to build exceptional working relationships with both individuals and teams, internally and externally, that help us achieve our objectives.
Significant track record of developing, securing and managing business relationships with leading brands and companies, ideally gained in a corporate fundraising environment in the not-for-profit sector
