This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Network Management team to partner with the Business and provide an expert view on Governance, Oversight Obligations & Standards
Job Summary
You are an experienced Network Management professional with proven leadership experience within a Financial Institutions environment. You will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Governance, Oversight Obligations & Standards team, who are accountable for ensuring Network Managements oversight and Line of Business Governance processes adhere to Firmwide Standards, Policies and applicable jurisdictional regulations e.g., Client Asset protection, third-party oversight, outsourcing etc.
As the Global Head of Governance, Oversight Obligations & Standards you will report into the Global Head of Network Management and partner directly with the line of business Legal, Compliance and Risk representatives, Business and Operations stakeholders, as well as the network of Agent Banks. You will be in a global role requiring extensive collaboration with the Global Heads of Cash, Securities and Network Management and across the wider Network Management organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and implement regulatory requirements across the Network Management team and Network, working in close partnership with the Legal and Compliance functions.
Monitor the Network Management processes to ensure that legal and regulatory requirements are adopted and embedded appropriately.
Undertake reviews of documentation and processes to ensure adherence to current and emerging regulatory risks, as well as new and evolving global regulatory and legal requirements.
Ensure adherence to the firmwide Corporate Third-Party Oversight (CTPO) Standards and take responsibility for the annual recertification of Network Management as a 'Specialised Service Category' under the CTPO Framework.
Manage a consistent global approach to regulatory requirements and activities such as Due Diligence, whilst ensuring a deep understanding of any local nuances across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
Work across the Network Management team to ensure complete and appropriate documentary evidence of all regulatory obligations, exceptions, including oversight and monitoring, leveraging JP Morgan programs and other firm-wide information resources.
Oversee and approve any changes to procedures or documentation relating to legal requirements, regulations, oversight standards, due diligence or risk management.
Represent Network Management at Line of Business Governance forums, legal entity committees and stakeholder meetings as required, ensuring that the appropriate levels of governance are adhered to.
Deliver training on new and evolving legal and regulatory requirements across the Network Management organisation
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
You will have a strong understanding of the Financial Services industry, the regulatory environment and impact on business strategy: Significant work experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with experience in Network Management, Governance/Controls, Third party Oversight & global Client Asset protection regulations.
You will possess strong and effective communication skills:
Very strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate succinctly, providing opinion and challenge as appropriate.
Experience of liaising with and presenting to senior management.
Excellent attention to detail
Experienced leader in a complex environment
You will have the ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard, and to tight timelines, including:

Network Management is a firmwide function within the CIB Digital & Platform Services organization responsible for managing the J.P. Morgan's Lines of Business ("LOBs") relationships with their network of local providers including payment systems, central counterparties (CCPs), and check clearing systems) and Agent Banks (sub-custodians, cash correspondents, partners, and clearing banks).
With c 200 employees, the Network Management team is located in London, Bournemouth, Brooklyn, Delaware, Tampa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai & Hyderabad to provide coverage of markets and selected clients.
