Occupational Hygienist

Requirements

  • A degree or higher education in science or a related technical discipline and accredited membership of BOHS.
  • A methodical approach to work along with a minimum of at least 2 years of experience
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude with a consistently detailed approach
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal communication
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically in common Microsoft packages
  • Full UK driving licence

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments to evaluate health risks and hazards related to noise and vibration exposure in various settings.
  • Utilize specialized equipment to accurately measure and sample noise and vibration levels in the environment, ensuring precise data collection.
  • Document environmental procedures, processes, and tasks associated with noise and vibration, facilitating thorough record-keeping and analysis.
  • Recommend and implement organizational changes and facility designs aimed at minimizing noise and vibration impacts on the environment and human health.
  • Provide clear and accurate information, advice, and training to stakeholders within the environmental sector, promoting awareness and compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability initiatives.
